Ghana midfielder Caleb Yirenkyi has signed a long-term contract extension with FC Nordsjaelland, keeping him at the Danish club until 2030.
The 19-year-old has made 29 league appearances since breaking into the senior team and has quickly become one of the club’s standout performers.
His consistent form also earned him a call-up to the Black Stars, where he has so far featured six times for the Ghana national team.
Confirming the new deal, Nordsjaelland’s Football Director, Alexander Riget, lauded Yirenkyi’s growth and attitude, describing him as a model professional whose determination has fueled his rise.
“Through a fantastic mentality and hard work every single day, Caleb has undergone excellent development over the past year and established himself as one of the best midfielders in the Super League. Therefore, we have chosen to honour him with a new contract,” Riget said.
Yirenkyi has already made 12 appearances in the current Superliga season, continuing to impress with his energy, vision, and composure in midfield as he cements his place among Denmark’s top young talents.
