The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced that the preliminary round draw for the 2025/26 CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup will take place on Monday, August 12, 2025, in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
In a statement, CAF confirmed that the first leg of the preliminary round matches will be played between August 15 and 18, with the return legs scheduled for August 22 to 25.
Ghana will be represented by Bibiani Gold Stars in the CAF Champions League, following their historic Ghana Premier League triumph.
Asante Kotoko, who recently lifted their 10th MTN FA Cup title, will feature in the Confederation Cup.
Both teams will be hoping for favourable draws as they aim to make significant progress in the competitions and revive Ghana’s presence on the continental stage.
