The Member of Parliament for Mpraeso and a leading member of Dr. Bryan Acheampong’s campaign team, Davis Ansah Opoku, has described Mr. Acheampong as the candidate best equipped to manage Ghana’s economy.
Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen show, Mr. Ansah Opoku said Mr. Acheampong’s understanding of the economy is rooted in experience, not mere campaign promises.
“Bryan Acheampong is a leader who understands the economy of this country. He has experience from Parliament, as a minister, and beyond. It is not about promises; it is about implementation,” he stated.
He added that Ghana needs a leader with a solid vision and practical knowledge, stressing that ideas without a clear economic strategy could be problematic.
According to Mr. Ansah Opoku, Mr. Acheampong’s background as an entrepreneur, including ownership of what he described as the largest software company in Ghana, positions him to deliver practical economic solutions.
He further disclosed that Mr. Acheampong has developed a comprehensive economic plan, which is expected to be unveiled after the January 31 party primaries.
“He is already running an economy at a local level and transforming lives. Given the opportunity, he will scale this up for the benefit of all Ghanaians,” he said.
