AFC Bournemouth are reportedly considering a move for Leicester City winger Abdul Fatawu Issahaku as they prepare for a potential January departure of Antoine Semenyo.
Semenyo is widely expected to complete a switch to Manchester City after agreeing personal terms, with negotiations understood to be progressing ahead of the winter transfer window.
The Ghana international has been outstanding for the Cherries since his arrival from Bristol City in 2023, scoring nine goals and registering three assists in the ongoing 2025/26 season.
His impressive form has attracted strong interest from the Premier League champions, who are keen to add the 25-year-old forward to their attacking options.
Bournemouth, however, are already planning for life without Semenyo, with Leicester’s Abdul Fatawu emerging as their primary target.
Sources suggest Leicester City could be willing to listen to offers in the region of £30 million for the 20-year-old winger, who has established himself as a regular starter at the King Power Stadium.
Known for his pace, direct running and ability to operate across the flanks, Fatawu is seen as a like-for-like replacement.
Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola has previously praised Semenyo’s influence on the team, but has also hinted at having contingency plans in place, stopping short of dismissing the possibility of a mid-season exit.
