Big Push prioritises precision, quality and value – Roads Minister

The Minister for Roads and Highways, Kwame Agbodza, has highlighted that the government’s “Big Push” infrastructure programme is focused on precision, quality, speed, and ensuring value for money.

Speaking on the objectives of the initiative, Mr Agbodza said the programme aims to deliver projects efficiently while maintaining high construction standards, ensuring that public funds are used effectively.

He emphasised that beyond building roads, the programme seeks to implement measures that guarantee durability, safety, and long-term benefits for communities across the country.

According to Mr Agbodza, the “Big Push” is also designed to strengthen local capacity and promote accountability, ensuring that infrastructure spending translates into real value for the Ghanaian people.
