Bibiani GoldStars have bolstered their squad with the signing of striker Samson Eduku as preparations intensify for the upcoming football season.
The 27-year-old forward joins The Miners after mutually parting ways with Asante Kotoko at the end of the 2024/25 campaign.
Eduku is reported to have signed a two-year contract with the reigning Ghana Premier League champions.
His acquisition is part of GoldStars’ strategic squad reinforcement as the club prepares for its maiden appearance in the CAF Champions League, following their historic league triumph.
Eduku becomes the latest addition to an ambitious recruitment drive that has already seen the arrival of Emmanuel Agyei, Emmanuel Fosu Kyei, Emmanuel Agyenim Boateng, Barimah Baah, Edward Agyemang, Emmanuel Kontor, and Emmanuel Ankrah.
Head coach Frimpong Manso will use the upcoming 2025 GHALCA Top Four tournament to fine-tune his team ahead of their continental debut.
GoldStars are also scheduled to face Asante Kotoko in the Champion of Champions match as part of their pre-season activities.
