Ghana Premier League champions Bibiani GoldStars have officially confirmed the signing of winger Emmanuel Agyei as they bolster their squad ahead of the upcoming football season.
The 24-year-old speedster joins the Miners from fellow top-flight side Basake Holy Stars FC and has penned a three-year contract with the club.
“Bibiani GoldStars SC is delighted to confirm the signing of Emmanuel Agyei! The talented 24-year-old right winger joins from Basake Holy Stars Football Club on a three-year deal. Welcome to Bibiani, Emmanuel — we can’t wait to see you shine in Yellow and Green!” the club announced on social media.
Agyei’s arrival forms part of GoldStars’ broader squad-strengthening strategy as they gear up for their debut appearance in the CAF Champions League, following their historic Ghana Premier League title win.
He becomes the latest addition to an expanding squad that includes fellow newcomers Emmanuel Fosu Kyei, Emmanuel Agyenim Boateng, Barimah Baah, Edward Agyemang, Emmanuel Kontor, and Emmanuel Ankrah.
Head coach Frimpong Manso will assess his team’s readiness for the continental challenge in the 2025 GHALCA Top Four tournament, which kicks off on August 1.
The Miners are also set to take on Asante Kotoko in the Champion of Champions match as part of their pre-season schedule.
