Bibiani GoldStars have been crowned champions of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League, marking a historic milestone for the club.
The Miners sealed the title with a commanding 4-0 victory over Accra Lions on the final day of the season last weekend.
Their triumph was officially celebrated on Saturday at the DUN’s Park, following a goalless draw against Medeama SC in a coronation match.
After the final whistle, the GoldStars squad and officials were presented with their winners’ medals before hoisting the coveted league trophy to the delight of their fans.
This victory marks GoldStars’ first-ever Premier League title and continues the Western Region’s recent dominance of Ghana football, making them the third consecutive club from the region to lift the trophy, following Medeama and Hasaacas.
The team has received widespread acclaim for their consistent performances and dominant displays throughout the season.
Saturday’s coronation ceremony drew a large crowd, including dignitaries, fans, and members of the local community, all celebrating a landmark season that has firmly placed Bibiani on Ghana’s football map.
Bibiani GoldStars will now represent the country in the 2025/26 CAF Champions League season.
