Betway has officially handed over two (2) fully installed Power Up units to the people of Ballagonnor, located in the Danchira Electoral Area of the Ga South Municipality, reinforcing the brand’s long-standing commitment to community development and sustainable energy inclusion.

The Power Up initiative, delivered under the Betway Cares umbrella as part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy, marks another impactful milestone in this ongoing effort.
Power Up is Betway Ghana’s flagship CSR initiative aimed at empowering disadvantaged communities with access to solar-powered infrastructure that supports basic energy needs, connectivity, and digital connectivity. The initiative is designed to bridge gaps in electricity and digital access by delivering purpose-built hubs equipped with mobile charging ports and lighting.
Speaking at the handing over ceremony, Hon. Ahorter Ebenezer, Assemblyman for the Danchira Electoral Area, expressed gratitude on behalf of the community “This intervention is timely and impactful. These solar units will enhance the lives of residents, especially those who rely on mobile connectivity and digital tools for everyday needs.”
