Jamaican dancehall star Popcaan has joined the growing list of global celebrities embracing Ghana’s viral “Kuria kuria” shea butter massage.

The award-winning artiste visited the popular Hamamat Village, where he was warmly received by the Hamamat Village girls, who treated him to the now world-famous traditional massage that has captured international attention.

Clearly impressed by the experience, Popcaan did not hold back his admiration, rating the massage a perfect score and immersing himself fully in the cultural wellness session.

He describing the experience as the “best massage 10/10” as the service combines traditional shea butter therapy with rhythmic body techniques rooted in Northern Ghanaian heritage.

The experience has become a major attraction following the viral visit by American streamer IShowSpeed, whose enthusiastic reaction to the massage introduced millions of global viewers to Ghana’s shea butter traditions and Hamamat Village.

Beyond the massage, Popcaan also explored other attractions at the village, including its scenic waterfalls.

During his stay, the Jamaican star paid an emotional visit to Cape Coast Castle, where he honoured his ancestors and reflected on the shared history between Africa and the Caribbean.

Popcaan also engaged in cultural dialogue with Jamaican Honorary Consul to Ghana, Oktatakyie Boakye Danquah Abaabio, discussing ways to strengthen ties between African and Caribbean communities and promote deeper awareness of their shared roots.
