Trading activities at the Amponsah Market in Suhum were disrupted after a swarm of bees invaded a warehouse, forcing traders to avoid the facility over safety concerns.

The incident occurred on Thursday, February 19, when the bees occupied part of the warehouse, creating fear among traders and preventing access to stored goods.

Market authorities quickly alerted the Ghana National Fire Service, and personnel from the Suhum Municipal Fire Station responded to the distress call.

Upon arrival, firefighters assessed the situation and safely relocated the swarm to a nearby environment.

No injuries were reported, and normal trading activities resumed once the bees had been removed.

Market authorities commended the firefighters for their swift and effective response in resolving the situation.
