The Elevation Youth Fellowship has taken a proactive step to educate Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) and West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) candidates in Kenyasi, Ahafo Region, on the harmful effects of drug abuse and its impact on their academic progress and future goals.

At the 2025 Elevation Conference themed “Who Am I? Discovering Self and Purpose,” the Founder of the Fellowship, Francis Nsiah, told Adom News that the growing rate of drug abuse among the youth in Kenyasi prompted this year’s focus.

He said experts and influential personalities were invited to provide in-depth education on the dangers of drug use, stressing that continued abuse could jeopardize the future of young people in the community.

Mr. Nsiah added that the initiative aims to equip the youth with the knowledge and awareness needed to help them avoid drug-related behaviors and focus on their education and purpose in life.

The Examination Coordinator for the Asutifi North District, Frank Otchere, also praised the Elevation Conference, noting that over the past five years, it has significantly improved educational standards in the area.

He said the platform allows experts to guide candidates on examination best practices and how to avoid pitfalls such as exam malpractice and cancellation.

The Elevation Youth Fellowship continues to serve as a vital support system for students as they prepare for their national examinations.
