The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Public Sector Reform, Kusi Boafo, says he has taken notice of the challenges posed by the centralisation of the passport office which has forced all applicants across the nation to pick up their travelling documents in Accra.

He says, as a result, plans are in place to make passport acquisition online the way to go when the National ID cards are finally released to reduce congestion in the Accra offices.

He was speaking to Adom News following reports that passport acquisition is on hold as a result of the Hajj and the failure of other public institutions to work.

His office has been blamed, especially, considering the fact that he was one of the main critics of the former government.
