Four (4) persons have been gunned down by some suspected armed robbers at Kotwea in the Asante Bekwai municipality of the Ashanti region.
An eye witness who spoke to Adom News said the robbers committed the act after embarking on an operation in the area on Friday night.
She said the suspected robbers, were riding an unregistered motorbike and after robbing residents in the area, the four unidentified men according to the eye witness pursued the robbers with their vehicle but the robbers managed to shoot the driver of the vehicle.
After the driver had been shot, their vehicle suddenly stopped and the robbers rushed and shot the other three occupants in the car and bolted.
Meanwhile, the bodies of the deceased have been deposited at the morgue.
They police say investigations are ongoing to identify the said robbers.
