The Assemblies of God Church, Ghana, has called on the government to establish dedicated support schemes and award packages for the dependants of the eight men who died in the recent military helicopter crash.
The church said such measures would be a fitting recognition of the ultimate sacrifice the victims made and the exceptional service they rendered to the nation.
“This gesture will strongly affirm that Ghana, our beloved nation, is indeed worth dying for,” the church noted in a statement signed by its General Secretary, Rev. Dr. Ernest Birikorang.
