Kofi Job Construction Limited has commenced asphalt laying works on the Tepa–Goaso road in the Ahafo Region, aimed at easing transportation challenges faced by commuters.

Speaking to Adom News, the company’s Asphalt Site Manager, Collins Zangah, expressed concern over the high rate of speeding by motorists on the stretch, despite repeated advisories to slow down during construction. He cautioned that reckless driving could lead to accidents.

According to Zangah, the first phase of the project involves laying asphalt with a thickness of 70 millimetres from Mabang to Hwidiem, a section expected to be completed within three months.

He assured residents and road users that the company is committed to delivering quality work that will stand the test of time.

Meanwhile, the Technical Materials Officer for Delin Consult, Bright Kwadwo Otchere Siaw, said his outfit is closely monitoring the project to ensure the contractor uses the appropriate materials.

He noted that checks conducted so far indicate that the work is progressing as expected, assuring the public of value for money.
