
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GHAPOHA), Johnson Asiedu Nketia, has departed Accra as the head of a delegation to Japan for the annual general meeting of the International Association of Ports and Harbours (IAPH).
This was contained in a statement released by Kakra Essamuah, Director of Communications of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), where Nketia also serves as National Chairman.
The meeting will take place in Kobe, with the delegation expected to return to Ghana on October 12, 2025.
In his absence, the NDC has announced that its Vice Chairman, Awudu Sofo Azorka, will serve as Acting National Chairman.
