Asante Kotoko head coach Karim Zito insists their Ghana Premier League title chase remains on track despite another draw.
The Porcupine Warriors secured a point on Sunday against FC Samartex in Matchday 11 at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena, leaving them fourth on the table with 20 points, three behind leaders Aduana FC.
“Apart from being first, no position fits Asante Kotoko,” Zito said in a post-match interview.
“We are still chasing, and it is not too late. It only pains me when I draw at home because then I have to win away to balance the home games,” he added.
Despite the draw, Kotoko remain the only unbeaten team in the league this season.
The team will look to return to winning ways when they face Basake Holy Stars in a rescheduled fixture on November 26, before hosting Medeama SC in Matchday 12 at the Baba Yara Stadium.
