Asante Kotoko defender Samba O’Neil is confident the team has what it takes to win the CAF Confederation Cup next season.
The Porcupine Warriors secured their spot in the CAF inter-club competitions after clinching their 10th FA Cup title.
Although the team has struggled to advance past the group stages in recent campaigns, the Congolese right-back believes they can go all the way this time.
“It’s possible we can win the CAF Confederation Cup next season, and I believe in that,” he told Asempa FM’s Ultimate Sports Show.
Since joining Kotoko ahead of the 2024/25 season, O’Neil has expressed his appreciation for the club’s passionate supporters.
“The Asante Kotoko fans make me feel at home, and I’m happy to play for the club.”
In preparation for their upcoming African campaign, Asante Kotoko have strengthened their squad with new signings including Francis Acquah, Hubert Gyau, and Johnson Owusu Oppong.
