The Adonten Hene of Asante Akyem Praaso, Nana Kankam Nyame Appiah, has extended his support to the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) at Konongo Odumase with a donation of essential office equipment.
The traditional leader presented four sets of computers, a television set, and a printer to the Municipal Fire Command to boost its administrative work.
Receiving the items on behalf of the Service, Municipal Fire Commander, DO II Joseph Bryden, expressed appreciation to the chief, describing the gesture as timely and impactful.
Nana Kankam Nyame Appiah, in his remarks, said the donation was born out of his deep passion for the Fire Service, stressing his readiness to continue supporting the Command whenever the need arises.
According to the chief, the items will not only aid the operational efficiency of the GNFS but also benefit the wider community by strengthening the station’s capacity to deliver on its mandate.
