The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Asante Akyem Central, Dr. Ekow Ebenezer Aidoo, has presented 400 dual desks to the Ghana Education Service (GES) for distribution to schools in the area.
The donation is aimed at addressing the shortage of desks and enhancing the learning experience in the municipality.
In a brief address during the presentation on Wednesday, Dr. Aidoo pledged his commitment to improving education in the municipality by providing adequate teaching and learning materials.
Meanwhile, he urged philanthropists and benevolent organisations within the municipality to support development efforts.
