The newly confirmed Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Asante Akyem Central, Ebenezer Ekow Aidoo, has pledged to unite his constituents to drive development in the municipality.
Following a unanimous 100% endorsement by all 35 assembly members, Rev. Aidoo vowed to set aside party affiliations and work for the collective progress of the area.
Speaking to the media after his confirmation, Rev. Aidoo expressed profound gratitude and promised an open, inclusive administration focused on shaping the municipality’s development.
Having contested as the National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate in the 2024 general elections, Rev. Aidoo reaffirmed his commitment to serving the people.
“My focus is to bring unity and development to this constituency. I will work hand in hand with our Member of Parliament, assembly members, traditional rulers, and all residents regardless of party colours,” he stated.
