Antoine Semenyo has been shortlisted for the Premier League Player of the Month award for February.

The Ghana international has been in impressive form for Manchester City since completing his move from AFC Bournemouth during the January transfer window.

The 26-year-old has quickly become an influential figure for City, scoring five goals in eight Premier League appearances for the club.

Semenyo scored three goals in February, opening the scoring in a 2-2 draw against Tottenham Hotspur and netting decisive goals in victories over Fulham and Leeds United. He also provided an assist for Nico O’Reilly in the win against Fulham.

The former Bristol City forward has demonstrated his versatility since arriving at City, featuring both in midfield and as a centre-forward.

Across 28 Premier League matches this season, Semenyo has registered 14 goals and four assists.

He faces strong competition for the award from Viktor Gyokeres of Arsenal, teammate Nico O’Reilly, Dango Ouattara of Brentford, Benjamin Sesko of Manchester United, and Virgil van Dijk of Liverpool.

Fans have until 12:00 GMT on Monday, March 9, to cast their votes, with the winner expected to be announced next week.
