Anita Erskine returns as juror for 2025 International Emmy Awards

Ghanaian media powerhouse Anita Erskine has once again been named a juror for the 2025 International Emmy Awards.

The appointment by the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences marks her return to the prestigious role after previously serving on the jury.

As part of the panel, Erskine will help evaluate and select outstanding television productions from around the world.

In announcing her return, she expressed gratitude for the recognition and emphasized the importance of intentional growth in her career.

“From starting as an on-screen talent to becoming a Storyteller, Producer, Executive Producer, and Editor, I’ve learned that you don’t grow by accident — you grow by intention,” she wrote.
“Serving as a juror was more than a title. It was a labor of love, and a moment that was powerful and deeply humbling, while also enlightening and deeply affirming.
To help shape what the world sees as the very best in global television? I’ll never take it for granted. This isn’t just my win, it’s also yours!”

Her selection comes at a time when more African creatives are gaining recognition on international platforms. It also adds to the growing presence of Ghanaian professionals on the International Emmy panels, with Peace Hyde also serving as a juror for the 2025 cycle.
