Akyem Oda MP sponsors mock examination for BECE candidates

As part of efforts to promote academic excellence among junior high school students, the Member of Parliament for Akyem Oda, Alexander Akwasi Acquah, has fully sponsored a mock examination for all 1,449 candidates preparing for the 2025 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) in the Birim Central Municipality.

The initiative, aimed at improving student preparedness and performance, forms part of the MP’s broader commitment to strengthening the quality of education in the constituency.

Speaking on the initiative, Mr. Acquah said his continuous investment in education over the past five years has contributed to improved academic outcomes.

He encouraged both teachers and parents to support the students and motivate them to give their best in the upcoming national examination.

Some stakeholders in the education sector have lauded the MP’s efforts, describing the mock exams as a timely intervention that could significantly enhance students’ confidence and readiness.
