Amid widespread rumours about the death of Nana Akua Asantewaa III, the Paramount Queen Mother of Akyem Kotoku, Oseadieyo Dr. Frimpong Manso IV has dismissed the claims as false and intended to cause confusion.
He urged unity among the people of Akyem Kotoku to promote development, while expressing concern that the area had previously been overlooked in national considerations.
Speaking at a press briefing held at the Akyem Kotoku Palace in Akyem Oda, the Omanhene firmly refuted the death rumours surrounding Nana Akua Asantewaa III, urging the public to disregard the claims.
He confirmed that the Queen Mother is alive and currently receiving medical treatment at a hospital, and expressed shock over the widespread circulation of the false reports across the Kotoku State.
Oseadieyo Dr. Frimpong Manso IV further called for unity among the people, stressing that fostering development in Akyem Kotoku remains his top priority.
He assured that efforts to improve the welfare of the area will continue to guide his leadership.
