The Member of Parliament for Agona West, Mrs. Ernestina Ofori-Dangbey, has sponsored the refurbishment of a broken-down fire tender in Agona Swedru, restoring the vehicle to full operational status.

The fire tender, which became unserviceable in March 2024, received a replacement engine from the MP to help reduce risks in the constituency and support the work of fire personnel.

The Ghana National Fire Service’s Central Regional Command oversaw the repairs and officially handed over the restored tender.

Both Mrs. Ofori-Dangbey and fire officers pledged to continue collaborating to improve safety and emergency response for residents.

Speaking on behalf of the Regional Commander, the Municipal Commander of Agona Swedru, DO II Abdul Wasiu Hudu, expressed gratitude to the MP for her support and assured that the tender would be properly maintained to enhance service delivery in the community.
