Former Education Minister, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, has officially announced his intention to contest the New Patriotic Party(NPP) flagbearership race.
According to the Bosmotwe Member of Parliament(MP), he will pick the form when nominations are opened by the party.
He made his intentions known in a national broadcast on Wednesday evening.
“I believe the confidence that was reposed in me and the support during my tenure as Education Minister will not wither. I believe delegates and Ghanaians will give me that same support to help me emerge victorious,” he said.
Delivering his address, he expressed his appreciation to former President Nana Akufo-Addo for the opportunity to serve the people of Ghana under his tenure.
The educationist revealed that if he is voted as President in the 2024 elections, he will become a transformational leader.
