What’s an Adom Nine Lessons & Carols without a little drama and a lot of laughs? This year’s Kumawood-style nativity proved just that.
From the opening scene which invited Big Akwes as Angel Gabriel on stage, it was clear this wasn’t your usual Christmas play.

Adding a contemporary twist, the performance cleverly poked fun at the recent Daddy Lumba trending case, slipping in playful references that had the audience gasping.
Joining the pack for the first time was Kofi Adjorlolo who portrayed the character of King Harold aka Nana Tupac with grandeur.

Even the royal court added a layer of comedy, with witty exchanges and playful dramatics.
The three wise men made a grand entrance, full of energy and antics, keeping the audience entertained at every turn.

Every scene, from the stable to the streets of the nativity attracted humor and festive spirit in true Kumawood fashion.
