The Akan brands of Multimedia Group Limited, Adom FM/TV and Asempa FM, will today, March 27, 2026, hold a grand durbar at the Bukom Boxing Arena to climax their Ghana Month celebrations and showcase the country’s rich cultural heritage.
Male and female presenters of the channels will join the celebration in elegant traditional attire, drawing admiration from audiences both at the venue and watching from home.
Some presenters will wear kente, a deeply rooted Ghanaian textile made from handwoven strips of silk and cotton. Traditionally associated with royalty among the Akan, kente remains a powerful symbol of heritage and identity.
Others will adorn a variety of beautiful traditional fabrics and ornaments, each representing different regions of Ghana and reflecting the country’s diverse cultural landscape.
In addition to Multimedia staff, traditional authorities from across the country are expected to grace the event.
