
The Adom Brands of the Multimedia Group Limited have extended heartfelt condolences to the family of iconic highlife musician Charles Kwadwo Fosu, popularly known as Daddy Lumba, following news of his passing.
In a solemn show of solidarity, a delegation made up of representatives from Adom TV, Adom FM, and Asempa FM visited the late musician’s family home to commiserate with them during this difficult time.
They joined loved ones, industry colleagues, and sympathizers to honour the memory of a man whose music has shaped generations.
Senior News Editor in Charge of Special Assignments, A. C. Ohene, signed the book of condolence on behalf of the group.
In his tribute, he wrote:
“To us, a national icon; to our Maker, a son returned. We take comfort in the hope that someday we shall meet again in eternity. Daddy Lumba, the Adom Brands salute you. Multimedia bids you, Damirifa Due.”
Describing Daddy Lumba as a musical trailblazer, the delegation praised his immense contribution to Ghanaian music and culture, noting that his timeless catalogue continues to inspire millions.
The family, while expressing gratitude for the visit, assured the delegation that details of the one-week observance and funeral arrangements would be communicated in due course. In response, the Adom Brands team pledged their support in helping to publicize these announcements and ensure Daddy Lumba is celebrated fittingly.
The delegation included brand managers, presenters, producers, as well as sales and marketing executives.
