Ghanaian actor Harold Amenyah has earned a Master’s degree in Marketing Strategy from the University of Ghana today, February 20 — and he is already setting his sights on a PhD.
Sharing the news on social media, he posted: “PhD next 👨🏾🎓 #ThankYouGod|,” signalling his ambition to continue his academic journey.
The announcement was met with an outpouring of congratulatory messages from colleagues, fellow celebrities and fans, many of whom praised him for balancing higher education with a successful career in the entertainment industry.
Harold Amenyah now joins a growing number of Ghanaian celebrities who have pursued advanced degrees alongside their professional achievements.
Among them is dancehall artiste Stonebwoy, who earned a Master of International Relations and Diplomacy (MIRD) from Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration in 2025.
Actor and politician John Dumelo obtained a Master’s in Law (Natural Resources) from the University of Ghana in 2024, while actress Jackie Appiah completed a Master of Arts (MA) in Communication Studies at the University of Ghana in 2025.
Their achievements reflect a broader trend of public figures investing in higher education while maintaining active careers in the spotlight.
