Presidential Staffer Nana Yaa Jantuah has attributed the reduced traffic congestion in Accra this December to the recent drop in fuel prices, noting that many residents are travelling outside the city to celebrate Christmas.

Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme, she explained that lower fuel prices have made transportation more affordable, enabling people to travel to their hometowns, complete their festive shopping early, and enjoy the Christmas season with less stress.

According to her, the development reflects responsive and people-centred leadership, describing President John Dramani Mahama as a humane, hardworking, and humble leader who prioritises the needs of Ghanaians.

“Ghana has become a better place recently. The traffic in town has reduced, even during this festive season, which has made it easier for people to travel back home to celebrate the holidays,” she said.

She added that the reduction in fuel prices has further eased movement within the city.

“Fuel prices have dropped, and that has reduced congestion in Accra. Many people have already completed their Christmas shopping. John Mahama has had a positive impact on the country. He is compassionate, hardworking and truly cares about the people. Ghana has become sweet under his leadership, and we applaud him for the good work he is doing,” Nana Yaa Jantuah stated.
