Member of Parliament for Abuakwa South, Dr. Kingsley Agyemang, has hosted pupils and teachers from Akim Asafo Presbyterian Basic School at Ghana’s Parliament House as part of efforts to promote civic education among the youth.
The educational visit gave students a rare opportunity to tour the parliamentary chamber, observe live proceedings, and engage directly with the MP.
Dr. Agyemang described the visit as an initiative aimed at connecting young minds with Ghana’s democratic process, noting that such experiences help inspire future leaders and deepen civic awareness.
“I was particularly moved by the enthusiasm and curiosity of the students—they asked thoughtful questions and showed genuine interest in how laws are made,” he said.
He thanked the school for making the journey and said the visit was a strong reminder of the importance of building a fairer and better Ghana for future generations.
