Ghanaian midfielder Abdul Aziz Issah will remain with Barcelona B until the summer of 2026 after the Spanish side confirmed an agreement to extend his contract.
Issah, who joined Barça Atlètic from Dreams FC at the beginning of the current season, has struggled to secure regular playing time. However, the club remains confident in his long-term potential and has offered him a renewed opportunity to prove himself.
Despite a quiet debut campaign in Spain, the 19-year-old has shown flashes of promise. He was a standout performer for Ghana at the recent Africa U-20 Cup of Nations in Egypt, where he scored a goal and earned a Man of the Match accolade during the Black Satellites’ push for World Cup qualification.
