A long vehicle which failed its break has knocked down a 30-year-old hawker at Aboabo in the Asokore Mampong municipality of Ashanti region.
The lady could not survive the accident which occurred on Tuesday, July 29, 2025.
According to eyewitnesses, the woman was hawking electrical cables to cross the Airport Roundabout-Anloga Junction Highway when the unfortunate incident occurred.
The Motor Traffic and Transport Unit (MTTU) at the Airport Police Station responded to the scene.
The woman was confirmed dead on arrival at the hospital, with the body being kept at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital morgue.
