Popular National Democratic Congress (NDC) sympathizer, Kweku Appiah aka Appiah Stadium has accused vigilante groups affiliated to the New Patriotic Party (NPP), the Invincible and Delta Forces of attempting to set his house and car ablaze.
Appiah Stadium had accused the vigilante groups of attempting to burn his properties in his house at Ahenema Kokoben in the Ashanti Region.
The incident was said to have occurred on Monday dawn after some unidentified men invaded his home.
Appiah Stadium speaking to Adom News accused members of the Invisible Forces of orchestrating the attack.
Appiah Stadium narrating the incident indicated that the supposed criminals preceded their arson by firing warning shots and daring him to step out and face them if he believes he’s a brave man.
According to him, he suspects the latest attack stemmed from an issue he had with one Nana Prempeh who’s a neighbour and a member of the Invisible Forces.
The incident, he noted has been reported to the Santase Police and have commenced investigations into the matter.
“I will never stop supporting John Mahama, I won’t stop. NPP will have to kill me. I have realised that I am a pillar and an impediment in the way of the NPP. They first arrested me, they later stormed my house with guns and now they have burnt my house and car.” He said.
Meanwhile, members of the Invisible Forces have denied torching the house.
According to the spokesperson for Invincible Forces, Ali Suraj, no member of the group has a hand in the alleged attack.
“Appiah Stadium’s accusation is baseless and if he thinks he has been attacked, he should go to the Police and stop throwing these allegations at innocent people.
“He burnt his car during the time of the former President John Dramani Mahama and he was given a new car so it may be possible that he is the same person who did this and has turned around accusing the Invisible forces,” he cried.
