Insurance company, GLICO today presented a cheque for GHC100,000 to The Multimedia Group to be given to the next of kin of late radio presenter, Kwadwo Asare Baffour Acheampong (KABA).
The amount was realized from a Group Comprehensive Insurance Plan (GCIP) package the company has done for all workers.
The cover is for any disablement or death of a staff whether at home, in the office, on the road or wherever.
The policy has been in place since 2014 and it covers both staff and service providers.
Head of HR for Multimedia, Nana Elegba who received the cheque on behalf of KABA said the cheque will be forwarded to KABA’s estate/next of kin.
