Incumbent New Patriotic Party (NPP) General Secretary Justin Kodua Frimpong is leading the contest to retain his position, according to a poll by Global InfoAnalytics.
The survey puts Mr Kodua at 71% support among delegates interviewed, ahead of three other aspirants seeking to become the party’s next General Secretary.
Former Member of Parliament for Ngleshie-Amanfro, Sylvester Tetteh, follows with 17%, while Eugene Antwi and Charles Dwamena each record 6%.
The figures reflect the candidates’ levels of support under Global InfoAnalytics’ polling model and do not represent the actual outcome of the election.
The poll comes ahead of the NPP’s national executive elections scheduled for Saturday, October 3, 2026, at the Kumasi Sports Stadium, where delegates will elect officers to lead the party.
