The University of Ghana (UG) has extended the deadline for applicants to review and make changes to their undergraduate applications for the 2026/2027 academic year.
Under the new arrangement, applicants have until 12:00 noon on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, to verify the information submitted on their applications before the admissions process proceeds.
The University is urging applicants to log into the UG Application Portal and carefully review their application details, particularly their personal and examination information.
Applicants have been advised to ensure that their full names are correctly arranged, their dates of birth are accurate, and their examination records, including the index number and examination month and year, are correctly captured.
UG has also encouraged prospective students to make realistic programme choices by referring to the 2025/2026 entry cut-off aggregates for the various programmes.
The cut-off aggregates are available on the University’s admissions website.
Meanwhile, applications for admission to the 2026/2027 academic year remain open to candidates with WASSCE results.
Prospective applicants can purchase e-vouchers from designated banks or through the USSD codes 772100# or 776108# on all mobile networks.

Applicants who meet the eligibility requirements are encouraged to complete their applications before the portal closes.
The University has stressed that the application portal will close at exactly 12:00 noon on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, after which applicants will no longer be able to review or amend their submitted applications.
