A horrific accident has occurred on the Tema New Town Fishing Harbour Road, involving a trailer and a taxi with registration number WR 2698-18.
The accident reportedly occurred after the trailer suffered a brake failure, causing the driver to lose control of the vehicle and crash into the taxi and two other vehicles.
The impact left the taxi extensively damaged, with the front of the trailer badly mangled.
No casualty has, however, been recorded.
The accident caused a scene on the busy stretch of road as efforts were made to assist those involved.
Authorities have arrived at the scene to assess and investigate the cause of the crash as efforts continue to establish the full circumstances surrounding the accident.
