The Regional Superintendent of Assemblies of God, Ghana, Rev. Andrew Nelson Awintia, has congratulated the General Superintendent of the Church, Dr Stephen Yenusom Wengam, on his re-election for another term in office.

In a congratulatory statement issued on Thursday, Rev. Awintia described Dr Wengam’s renewed mandate as a significant milestone for both his ministry and the Assemblies of God Church.

“Your renewed mandate marks not only a significant moment in your personal ministry, but also a season of thanksgiving and hope for our Church,” he said.

Rev. Awintia also commended Dr Wengam for the leadership and direction he has provided since assuming office, particularly through the implementation of the Transformation Agenda.

“From the moment you assumed office, you set our denomination on a new, Spirit-inspired trajectory through the Transformation Agenda, anchored on Micah 4:1-2 and expressed through the 6Rs — Reach, Rebuild, Restore, Reform, Reposition, and Rebrand.

“This Agenda has become the defining vision of your tenure, moving our Church beyond maintenance into aggressive mission, spiritual renewal, and national and global impact,” he added.

He expressed confidence that Dr. Wengam’s renewed mandate would provide further opportunity for the church to deepen its spiritual mission, strengthen its impact and advance the work of God.

Rev. Awintia further wished the General Superintendent wisdom, strength, and divine guidance as he begins another term of service to the Assemblies of God Church.
