A renowned herbalist, Elder Dr. Felix Antwi Dankwa, has been burnt to death in a fire incident at his residence at Kasoa New Town in the Awutu Senya East Municipality of the Central Region.
Dr. Felix Antwi Dankwa, Chief Executive Officer of Antwi Herbal and Spiritual Centre, is said to have been asleep with his wife in their house when the incident occurred around 1 a.m. on Tuesday.

According to sources, the deceased and his wife had allegedly been facing marital problems and were reportedly in the process of seeking a divorce.
The sources further indicate that the couple had a confrontation in front of the Kasoa DOVVSU office, where they allegedly exchanged blows.
The matter was reportedly brought before the DOVVSU Commander, who attempted to mediate between the couple but could not resolve the dispute.
The couple was subsequently asked to return to the police station today at about 9 a.m. for further action, including processing the matter for court.
However, before the scheduled appointment, tragedy struck as Dr. Felix Antwi Dankwa was found burnt to death in his residence. His wife and other occupants were not affected.

The Kasoa Divisional Police Command has since invited the deceased’s wife to assist with investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Police investigations are ongoing to establish the actual cause of the fire and determine whether foul play was involved.
