The Attorney-General and Minister of Justice, Dr Dominic Ayine, has filed a motion at the Court of Appeal for a stay of execution to stop the acquittal of former MASLOC CEO Sedina Tamakloe-Attionu from taking effect.
The application, filed on Thursday, July 30, 2026, and signed by Principal State Attorney Hilda W. Craig on the Attorney-General’s behalf, asks the court to suspend its own judgment while the state pursues an appeal against the acquittal at the Supreme Court.
A date is yet to be fixed for the hearing.
