A vehicle has been completely destroyed by fire on Mahama Road at Tse Ado Bush Road in Accra.
The incident, which occurred in the early hours of Monday, July 13, 2026, involved a Ford Escape, which was engulfed in flames before firefighters arrived at the scene.

Personnel from the Trade Fair Fire Station of the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) responded to the emergency and managed to contain the fire, preventing it from spreading to nearby properties.
Although the vehicle was completely burnt, no injuries were recorded and no additional property was affected.

The cause of the fire has not yet been established.
Authorities have meanwhile urged motorists to ensure regular maintenance of their vehicles and address electrical or mechanical faults promptly to reduce the risk of vehicle fires.
