The final funeral service for renowned fashion figure Sadia Halimatu Sanusi is underway at the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) Christ Temple East in Teshie, Accra.
The burial service, which is being held today, Friday, July 10, 2026, began with the remains of the late fashion personality conveyed to the church for the service.
Family, friends and members of Ghana’s fashion community have gathered to pay their final respects.
Actor and politician John Dumelo is among the personalities in attendance, joining others from the fashion fraternity to honour her memory.
The interment is scheduled to be private.
A thanksgiving funeral service is scheduled for Sunday, July 12, 2026, at the same church.
Sadia Halimatu Sanusi, who was born in 1993, passed away in her sleep, leaving behind a legacy that continues to be deeply cherished.
She is survived by her mother, Madam Beatrice Afi Ladzekpo; her late father, Mohammed Sanusi; and siblings Mrs. Talata Wilhemina Adams, Yram Afi Afadi, Zakari Sanusi of the Immigration Service, and Hikmatu Sanusi.
Loved ones and sympathisers continue to celebrate Sadia Halimatu Sanusi’s life, her passion for fashion and the impact she made during her time.
