Popular Ghanaian musician Mzbel was overcome with grief as she shared a heartbreaking video on Sunday, July 5, 2026, mourning the loss of her beloved sister.
She identified the deceased as 46-year-old Leila.
In the emotional clip, the “16 Years” hitmaker, dressed in black with a headwrap, struggled to speak through tears.
She repeatedly broke down while trying to explain what had happened, visibly devastated by the tragedy.
According to Mzbel, her sister was rushed to the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in urgent need of medical care.
However, the family was reportedly informed that there were no available beds for admission. Mzbel believes this delay ultimately cost her sister her life.
