Ghana Premier League side Aduana Stars have confirmed the appointment of Samuel Boadu as their new head coach ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.
The experienced Ghanaian tactician joins the Dormaa-based club following the expiration of his contract with Berekum Chelsea, bringing a wealth of top-flight experience to the role.
In an official statement, the club announced: “Aduana Football Club is delighted to announce the appointment of Samuel Boadu as the club’s new Head Coach.”
Boadu takes over from Cioba Aristica, who has departed after the conclusion of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.
The former Hearts of Oak and Medeama SC coach is highly regarded in Ghanaian football, having notably guided Hearts of Oak to a historic domestic double in 2021, winning both the Ghana Premier League and FA Cup.
Aduana Stars finished ninth in the recently ended season, recording 14 wins, 10 draws and 10 defeats from 34 matches. The club will be hoping Boadu’s winning pedigree and tactical approach can steer them back into title contention.
His appointment also makes him the second Ghana Premier League-winning coach to lead the club, following in the footsteps of Paa Kwesi Fabin.
