Former Eleven Wonders coach Nii Odartey Lamptey has initiated legal proceedings against his former side over alleged unpaid fees for services rendered at his academy facility in Abreshia in the Central Region.

The ex-Ghana international claims the club used his academy as a camping base during their Ghana Premier League campaign following their acquisition of the team.

In an exclusive interview with Asempa FM, Lamptey disclosed that he personally took responsibility for the players’ welfare, covering both accommodation and feeding throughout their stay.

He explained that after his relationship with the club ended, he formally requested payment for the services provided, but the club’s management failed to settle the debt.

The matter is currently before the Kotobabi District Court, with the next hearing scheduled for Thursday, as Lamptey seeks legal enforcement to recover the outstanding costs.

Meanwhile, Eleven Wonders’ struggles extend beyond the courtroom, with the club rooted to the bottom of the Ghana Premier League table on 13 points after 30 matches.
