The Member of Parliament for Ho Central Constituency, Edem Kofi Kpotosu, in collaboration with a Germany-based non-governmental organisation, has donated items worth millions of Ghana cedis to support education in Ho.
The beneficiary institutions are Mawuko Girls Senior High School and Spring Preparatory School.
The donation, aimed at enhancing teaching and learning, included 120 laptops for Mawuko Girls SHS, along with four 55-inch projector screens to support ICT instruction.

The school also received a printer, a variety of fabrics for practical lessons in the Home Economics Department, and sewing machines to boost vocational training.
Spring Preparatory School also benefited from the gesture, receiving 40 laptops and a range of learning materials to improve digital literacy and academic delivery.
Speaking in an interview with Adom News Correspondent Odehyeba Owusu Job after presenting the items, Mr. Edem Kofi Kpotosu emphasised the importance of investing in education, particularly in Information and Communication Technology (ICT), to prepare students for the demands of the modern world.
He noted that the support from the Germany-based NGO reflects a shared commitment to improving educational infrastructure and opportunities for young learners in the constituency.
Authorities of both schools expressed their gratitude to the MP and his partners, describing the donation as timely and impactful.
They indicated that the items would significantly enhance practical teaching, especially in ICT and Home Economics, and improve students’ overall learning experience.
The initiative forms part of ongoing efforts by the MP to promote quality education and equip schools in the Ho Central Constituency with the necessary tools for academic excellence.
